Types – Applications – Properties
When colors need to be adapted to the raw materials (wax, fragrances, additives) and production process of a manufacturer we recommend custom developed colors. These colors are designed according to manufacturer’s requirements and tested under defined conditions. Each delivery batch is manufactured using a standardized production process according to specified color values and following strict quality tests. This allows customers to save on tedious development work but not compromising on quality, as they will possess a ready-made , tested color product. Using these customized colors can minimize expensive production costs.
We recommend these colors
- To avoid errors caused by frequent mixing processes
- To increase productivity
- To standardize industrial production processes
- To simplify quality assurance
Rainbow Color-Mixing System
Manufacturers that choose to work with a few base colors and develop their own color formulas in their laboratories are supported by our innovative RAINBOW system. RAINBOW is a cloud-based software developed by us that provides users with formulas for Pantone references, with different types of wax and production modes being taken into account. There are formulae for over dipping and solid-coloring.
RAINBOW makes it possible for you to be faster and more flexible when responding to customer requests or rush orders. Warehousing will be simplified and the amount of capital tied up can be decreased. However, colorists and final testing under production conditions is still required.

Welcome to the Bekro trend forecast for 2017-2018. This season we are exploring the impact of an ‘always-on’ existence and the ways in which consumers are adapting to or coping with this.
Anxieties surface about our dependence on digital technology for everything from communication to navigation and consumers begin to explore what life ‘off the grid’ might look like. We create spaces to focus on how we truly feel, developing a more mindful approach to our own wellbeing and looking for natural ways to enhance this through light, sound and color.
There is a focus on building strong relationships with others too. As consumers of all ages turn to co-living and shared living situations in order to cope with worldwide housing shortages, the connections that we make together are increasingly important.
Finally, we explore how a new tribe of digital natives are using this ‘switched on’ existence to challenge the status quo; seeking out new ideas and setting their own rules...
Off the Grid
Remote locations and pockets of wilderness become more appealing as the antidote to an always-on existence. Teaching our digitally-reliant selves to exist away from technology is increasingly important, so total disconnection becomes an indulgent experience. Rich, earthy shades and tactile materials complement activities like collecting fire wood or cooking outdoors in search of a simpler way of life.
We recognize the importance of darkness as research highlights the negative influence of light pollution in and outside of the home. Individuals seek space to recharge and regroup without the disrupting influence of artificial light; turning instead to natural alternatives. Inspiration is found in natural rhythms such as the passing of time from dawn to dusk. Deep blues and purples create a soothing twilight mood.
As the world’s cities become more densely populated we develop a communal attitude. Co-living with friends or even colleagues, the concept of ‘family’ becomes much broader and a sense of belonging is increasingly relevant. We re-evaluate the importance of socialising, feasting and entertaining at home. There’s a vibrant and multicultural feel to this palette as global migration redefines borders.
The city begins to reveal pockets of green space with rooftop allotments, indoor greenhouses and balconies creating natural environments for urban consumers. There is a desire to get back to basics, embracing raw, natural ingredients and lifestyles. Wild flowers and herbs become inspiration for the home, creating a fresh palette of lush greens and subtle pinks.
Embracing technology, a new tribe of consumers use their online presence as a way to rediscover the world, breaking with convention and making their own rules. This futuristic story captures a unique approach; it’s all about doing things differently and exploring new alternatives. A combination of soft and electric blues, along with unusual textures and reflective surfaces creates an energetic mood.
